An original production cel from the Disney Studios animated film, "The Social Lion" (1954). Featuring the ostriches just before they bury their heads in the ground, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. Measuring 8"x9.25" overall, with the character image measuring 5.5"x6.5", the cel is in very good condition with some minor wrinkling. The piece is paired with a color copy reproduction background for display purposes.
