A production cel from the Disney Studios animated classic "Lady and the Tramp" (1955). Featuring a charming and charismatic pose of Jock, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The piece was originally set up by the studio for sale at the Art Corner shop located in Disneyland. The presentation is common for Courvoisier setups, with the blue background differing from the actual background image that appears in the film. Measuring 9"x12" matted, with the mat opening measuring 6.25"x9.25", and the character image measuring 5.25"x4.25", the piece is in very good condition, unexamined out of the sealed Art Corner mat. There is some evidence of minor line wear, rippling to the cel, and cracking to the paint on the character's nose. The Art Corner matting is in very good condition with minor corner wear, staining, and discoloration from age.
