An original production cel and background from the Marvel/Sunbow animated series "JEM and the Holograms" (1985-1988). Featuring a fantastic image of Aja, Deirdre, Shana, and a boy running on a giant keyboard, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the music video segment "Friends or Strangers," which appeared on the episode titled "Music Awards (Part 2)" that aired on September 20, 1986. Measuring 10"x14" overall, with the cel measuring 9"x10.5", and the character image measuring 7"x9", the piece is in very good condition with the cels attached to the background from paint transfer, staples along the top edge, and tape at the bottom of the cel corners.
