A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Juggernaut and Black Tom Cassidy, the hand-painted cels were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cels are actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear together in the season three episode "The Phoenix Saga, Part III: The Cry of the Banshee," which aired on September 7, 1994. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall for each cel with the character image area measuring 7.5"x8.75" as it is set up off register, the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, slight line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
